Our extra’s products are designed to let you get the most out of services you’re more likely to use. We pay higher benefits for physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic services, podiatry, dieticians, psychology (including sports psychology), and exercise physiology. Of course, we also pay benefits for optical, dental and ambulance subscriptions.

Unlike most other funds, we pay a higher benefit the longer you have been a member under our Mid and Max products.

Extras cover

Base

A great entry level product. Covers you for 50% of the costs of most extra's services up to your annual limits.

Mid

Provides great cover for extras services you’re more likely to need if you’re fit and active. When purchased as a combined cover, we give you up to 80% back for most extras services up to your annual limits. We also give you up to 90% back on Physio if you are treated by a Sports Specialist Sports Titled member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Max

Our premium product, has even higher annual limits then Mid Extras. When purchased as a combined cover, we give you up to 80% back for services you’re likely to need while keeping active (up to annal limits). We also give you up to 90% back on Physio if you are treated by a Sports Specialist or Sports Titled member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

  1. Benefits increase by 10% when provided by a Sports Titled or Sports Specialist members of the APA or SDA accredited Sports Dietitian, SDA Advanced Sports Dietitian or a fellow of SDA.
  2. When provided by either a member of the AFL Medical Officers Association, a Sports Titled or Sports Specialist member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), or other FIT preferred provider.

All calendar year limits shown are based on a single membership. These are double for couple, single parent and family. Unless otherwise stated.

All extras services must be provided by practitioners in private practice who are appropriately registered bodies approved by FIT Health Insurance.
